Orépit Postnatal is looking for caring, reliable, and responsible in-home childcare providers to care for infants and young children directly in families’ homes throughout Montreal and the surrounding areas we serve.

As an in-home childcare provider, your role is to offer children a safe, caring, and reassuring presence while giving parents the opportunity to rest, step away, or take some time for themselves with peace of mind.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision for infants and young children.
• Ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Follow the routines and instructions established by parents.
• Assist with meals, snacks, and sleep routines as needed.
• Provide calm and age-appropriate activities for children.
• Maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment during childcare hours.
• Communicate with parents about how the childcare period went.
• Respect each family's privacy and home environment.

What We Are Looking For

• A gentle, patient, attentive, and caring personality.
• Comfortable caring for infants and young children.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Strong observation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in families’ homes.
• Previous childcare experience or experience supporting young families is considered an asset.
• Flexible availability depending on family needs, including daytime, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts.
